In the early 1990’s Lance Benseman and Heather McDonald recognised the wine industry in the Queenstown and Central Otago region was going to boom. In 1993 they indulged their passion and knowledge of this new and exciting industry in the Queenstown region, and bought the Queenstown Wine Trail.

The Queenstown Wine Trail is Queenstown’s original wine tour and Lance and Heather have developed a strong committed partnership with the Queenstown and Central Otago vineyards in the last decade. They are constantly modifying and developing their product to satisfy client demand and incorporate appropriate new vineyards as they come on line.

The experienced team of staff and close relationship the company has with the wineries means their guests are guaranteed a fun, informative, friendly and personalised tour.  On the tours, guests will meet members of each vineyard team for a close up perspective of the local wine.
